Elder Steimle
He left for the Boise, Idaho mission in the beginning of March. We are all so proud of him for wanting to go on a mission and serve the Lord for 2 years of his life. He is the oldest grandson in our family and therefor the first to go on a mission. It is also very special because he is the first Great Grandson of my Grandma to go. Since his mom is a convert to the church he is also the first to go from her side of the family. A lot of pressure but we know he will be an incredible missionary and have lots of impact of the people in Idaho.
He got TIED UP! We had all the men in our family bring down an old tie of theirs to give to Skyler for his mission. He had the privilege of wearing many fun and meaningful ties from his Grandpa and Uncles. He left for the Boise, Idaho mission in the beginning of March. He is such a rad kid and everyone loves him. We all went to his farewell and it was a little different to see his "McDreamy" hair cut short.
After his farewell we all headed back to their home for a fun dinner, Just dance, and plenty of last minute hugs and tears for 2 years.
The Steimle Family...missing a few people (9 more to be exact.)
Headed out early morning to the MTC (missionary training center) in Provo. Goodbye wonderful San Clemente, CA weather!
