beach trips

We had a lot of summer beach trips. 

T. was worn out from being there literally ALL day 10-4 and as we walked backed to the car I laid her on the book board so I didn't have to carry her along with all our stuff. She had a full diaper, sand everywhere, and fell asleep with the sounds of the boogie board sliding on the sand. She was OUT!

Dodgers VS Padres

We went to the Dodger game for J.s work and we were lucky enough to go on the night they were playing B.s favorite team the Padres. Half our family was for the Dodgers and the other half was Padres. 

His favorite part was the Dodger Dog.

The foam finger was all fun in his room until Miley Cyrus had to change the image I had of it.

Summer

School ended and we could not have been more excited. I love their stuffed backpacks and arms full of goodies on the last day of school.

 This year both J. and B. were able to attend Bible school. It was B.s first time so J. showed him the roped at Church of the Open Door.

 J. loves to go and see some of her best friends there.

 B. wanted a fish so he got his first pet. He names it Hickory.

 After being on the boat for the afternoon with my parents we went to dinner where there was an amazing balloon guy. B. got spider man attached with a web. and J. got Ariel. We were pretty impressed.

The girls got to go to Girl Grandma camp. The had 2 full days of activities and fun with cousins and of course Grandma. Below is some of the fun food that Grandma prepared. 

We spent a few afternoons swimming at Grandma and Grandpas house.

Fathers Day

For Fathers day I surprised J. with tickets to Ipic. That ended up not working out so we found ourselves in the middle of Pasadena with their summer concert series. It was so fun to be in the middle of an unexpected event. Out lucky find was the Cousins Cuisine shrimp truck from the hit TV show Shark Tank. It was fun to eat our Main Lobster rolls on the sidewalk and people watch. 

J. was also surprised with a new car. He is such an awesome husband who has always given me the new car and taken our older car. After years of driving our 4 door Accord he was deservinglu upgraded.
