#1 had fer first "BIG" field trip to the Discovery Science Center in Irvine.
I was a little hesitant to have her ride the bus but the school would not let us drive them I also had mixed emotions since it meant my little baby girl was getting older. A few days later she came to me and said, "mom I don't want to go on the Field trip" When I asked why she replied "they don't have boosters or seat belts and I don't want to get in an accident"All that flashed through my mind was, what does she know that I don't??? I quickly shut the feelings down and just told her it would be ok and not to sit by a window and say a prayer that she would be safe.

Girls can always find something to entertain them while waiting, unfortunately the girl getting her hair done doesn't look very excited about getting her hair done and probably didn't have a choice.
I drove separately along with other moms and met her there. She told me repeatedly "how happy she was that I came even though I was REALLY pregnant and didn't want to go." Those moments make it all worth it. We had a fun time discovering science and enjoyed some special mom and daughter time togeher.
